CA ground squirrel life history states that, “-females are considered to be promiscuous-“ ! Am I to consider the male squirrels monogamous? This section needs some attention. 7Rats (talk) 23:10, 26 April 2025 (UTC)

A few years ago, I saw a nature video of some kind of squirrel harassing some kind of snake by repeated biting attacks, each followed by quickly dancing out of the snake's striking range.

If California ground squirrels ever do this, it might be worth mentioning in the article.
