Question about source for multilingual claim
I noticed that the statement “Fischer speaks five languages: German, English, French, Korean, and Spanish” is currently supported by a citation to Fischer’s own LinkedIn profile. Per WP:RS and WP:ABOUTSELF, self-published sources (including personal LinkedIn pages) can only be used in limited circumstances and generally should not be used for claims that are exceptional, promotional, or not independently verified. While speaking multiple languages is not inherently controversial, LinkedIn is a self-reported, user-generated platform and does not provide editorial oversight or fact-checking. Do we have any independent, reliable secondary sources that confirm this claim? If not, it may be better to remove the statement or qualify it appropriately per WP:V and WP:BLP (if applicable). Happy to discuss. ~2026-47562-0 (talk) 09:38, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
Relevance of competition victories section
The article currently lists 39 competition victories, the vast majority of which appear to be online competitions.
Per WP:UNDUE and WP:NOT, Wikipedia is not a résumé or indiscriminate directory of achievements. Listing dozens of minor or online-only competitions may give undue weight and create a promotional tone.
Should we consider summarizing this to only include major, independently covered competitions, or condensing the section into prose?
Happy to hear other views. ~2026-47562-0 (talk) 09:45, 23 February 2026 (UTC)
