Converse family and company connections
The Converse Memorial Library construction (1883-1885) is credited to Elisha Converse, and there is currently no mention of that name in the Converse (brand) article. There is only minimal mention of Marquis Mills Converse, who is listed as the founder of the Converse Rubber Shoe Company, in 1908. Reify-tech (talk) 18:11, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
