R v Orme & Nutt

The article quotes from what seems to be presented as the judgment in R v Orme & Nutt (1700) but such a case does not seem to exist. There is a case R v Orme and Nutt (1792) 91 E.R. 1224 which is 92 years later than cited here. Coincidentally, another case cited in this article, King v. Osborne (1732) 94 Eng. Rep. 406, which report is not a report on the case but on the granting of an information for it, cites "R v Orme Trin. 11 W. [1700]" – this chronologically cannot possibly be the same case as R v Orme & Nutt (1792). Moreover, neither of the citations in the article is sufficient to verify the quotations that are purportedly supported by them. Hairy Dude (talk) 15:40, 9 December 2024 (UTC)

The Netherlands

It's in the Dutch Penal Code, art. 262, but the Police will tell you they only have time for serious crimes. tgeorgescu (talk) 08:51, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
