Apology
It seems that it was I who introduced the incorrect maximum weight for dogs (50 rather than 45) with this edit on 16 September 2024. That stupid/careless mistake has led to a good deal of back-and-forth – my apologies to all for the time wasted! Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 18:53, 17 March 2025 (UTC)

Editing the Doberman Article
Howdy! My name is Glen Gallagher, a student at Texas A&M University College Station assigned to edit this article. I only seek to ensure that the article flows smoothly and is easy to read by:
- Checking and fixing topic organization
- Checking and fixing sentence organization
and
- Checking and fixing article cohesion
I do not plan to completely rewrite the article itself, only to ensure that the existing article is a better read. If you have any problems, please let me know as soon as you can and I will try to reply to your messages as soon as I can. With that, have a great rest of your day.
Thanks, Gig 'em, and God Bless

- Howdy again! Over the past week, I've been reading and making minor changes to the article that I believe will make the article a better read. The most noticeable of my changes was removing a single sentence. One that I felt didn’t fit with the rest of the article. The rest is merely just word choice and ensuring the article matched up with the facts in the sources. If I made any mistakes, feel free to make changes as you see fit.

Bitch...?
Would "Adult bitch" be an acceptable term for a dog? I know it's the name for a female dog, but over the years, bitch has became more visibly vulgar. Why not put "female dog"? sacherra_official (talk) 03:03, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
- Why wouldn't it? Cow, pig, rat, dog, pussy, and more are all offensive terms when used to describe a woman. Bitch is the proper term for an adult female canine and is regularly used in the relevant literature. Traumnovelle (talk) 04:11, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
- I'm sorry if this just makes me sound stupid, but wouldn't pussy be used for cats, if we're talking very formal, or is it normalized to the point where it's just wrong to put it anywhere from a casual conversation to adding it to educational resources? sacherra_official (talk) 04:21, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
- Pussy cat wouldn't be used in an encyclopaedia as its an informal term, the point is that any term used to describe an animal is offensive when applied to a person. See WP:NOTCENSORED and euphemism treadmill Traumnovelle (talk) 00:14, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
- OK. Thanks in advance. sacherra_official (talk) 04:01, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
