Link to Soot
I came here following articles that link to soot, hoping to clear up ambiguities between soot and black carbon. In this article, the cite does not support: "...their ruby red colour caused by soot-like substances......" I am no expert on dust astronomy, but I can't tell how the cited reference supports equating stellar carbon dust (amorphous and graphitic) with soot as that is not the terminology used in the cite. -- Paleorthid (talk) 22:07, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
