Sources do not support claim.
According to this article: "one of the most outspoken critics of the New Deal, which she referred to as the 'Jew Deal'. In the mid-to-late 1930s, Dilling expressed sympathy for Nazi Germany." I looked up the sources and they certainly disparage Elizabeth Dilling, but they do not say anything about her using the term "Jew Deal" and not one word of her alleged support for Nazi Germany in either of the sources. 45.92.229.32 (talk) 14:16, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
American Nazi category
@Pincrete the Category:American Nazis is as stated "for supporters of Nazism from the United States who were active before 1945", your revert reason says "sympathiser of Hitler/Nazism and to the right of Genghis Khan", this counts for the category. NorthTension (talk) 03:30, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
- NorthTension, I'm fairly sure sources don't describe her as a Nazi. They do describe her as rabidly anti-semetic, anti-communist, racist and as having expressed support for Germany/Hitler (mainly prior to US involvement in WWII, but so did many less right-wing people who weren't actual Nazis). I don't see how we can ascribe a 'label' that sources don't use. She is already categorised as a 'US fascist', which is less specific.Pincrete (talk) 05:17, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
- "I'm fairly sure sources don't describe her as a Nazi" and I don't think they do for some of the other people on that list, probably, but the point of the category is for sympathisers pre-1945; thus she applies. NorthTension (talk) 10:40, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
- NorthTension, if you don't think that sources describe her as a Nazi (or others on the list) what is the basis for WP describing her as one? If the

, then why not call it "US Sympathisers of Nazi-Germany". The woman was odious, virulently anti-semetic, obsessively anti-communist and with a bizarre definition of 'Christian', but she isn't identified as a Nazi by sources AFAIK, so she isn't!Pincrete (talk) 09:05, 30 March 2025 (UTC)- Why not see to the category getting renamed then? NorthTension (talk) 13:34, 30 March 2025 (UTC)
- It isn't me wanting to describe her using a term sources don't use! I'm also not sure of the appropriateness, there were ACTUAL US Nazis (members or otherwise explicitly characterised as such), Dilling (and probably some others) was way to the right, praised/defended Germany and AH, but was not an actual Nazi. I'm accidentally a watcher of this article, more familiar with US figures on the left, who included definite Soviet sympathisers, who nonetheless were not communists.
