Should we use TEG as short name in the article text?

Per , some decent sources do that. It would be practical to have an acronym. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:06, 22 July 2025 (UTC)

I'm going with it. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 14:29, 14 October 2025 (UTC)

Poor revert

@Gråbergs Gråa Sång I noticed you undid my edits earlier intended to add sourcing to the lead, as well as my attempts to make it more formal in nature. Consequently, the entire lead is now unsourced again, including for quotes.

This is in spite of you removing content for "not being interesting" and, ironic to your earlier edit, not having a "secondary source.

If you don't like the formatting of the reference, you can always make it more detailed. To me nuking my entire contribution to the lead is pretty unconstructive, especially considering the prevalence of uncited quotes and opinionated statements in the lead. For example Reactions have been generally negative from the sporting world, the scientific community, and media outlets, with commentators highlighting the safety risks of encouraging performance-enhancing drug use is completely unsourced and isn't balanced (And I don't mean falsely either). @Fantastic Mr. Fox Unsourced lead is fine per WP:LEADCITE, assuming it's summarizing cited article content, and it is. Putting a single ref for each statement is often worse, since the WP:LEAD is meant to summarize a lot of refs. Per article content, that green statement is a balanced summary of the reaction section, and has all the cited content in the Reaction section to back it up. Just labeling stuff "controversial" is less helpful. Fwiw, previous discussion at Talk:Enhanced_Games#Unfounded_negative_consensus_in_the_lede.
And sure, it's good if you don't leave WP:BAREURL for other editors to deal with, and note that punctuation comes before citation. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 13:47, 14 October 2025 (UTC)

The Enhanced Games is a proposed multi-sport event. Founded by Australian businessman Aron D'Souza, it would allow athletes to use performance-enhancing substances without being subject to drug tests. According to D'Souza, he created the Games because he believes that athletes are entitled to do what they wish with their own bodies, and that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is corrupt for exploiting them.
The first competition of the Enhanced Games is scheduled for May 2026, and several former Olympic swimmers intend to participate. Reactions have been generally negative from the sporting world, the scientific community, and media outlets, with commentators highlighting the safety risks of encouraging performance-enhancing drug use.

The first competition of the Enhanced Games is scheduled for May 2026[3].The event has proven highly controversial in the sport community and the scientific community over ethical and health concerns [4].
The event has attracted media attention both due to it's controversial nature and it's funding by 1789 Capital, a venture fund owned by businessman Donald Trump Jr [5]. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 13:55, 14 October 2025 (UTC) Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 13:55, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
