Perhaps the name Sri Lanka should be used instead of Ceylon. The name "Ceylon" was a European name first used much later than Faxian's time. The name Lanka has been used since ancient times. -Tropicalsundae (talk) 04:41, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

Wonder if the excerpt within section "Legge's biographical notes on Faxian" should be paraphrased and changed to non-quoted text since almost the whole of the section appears as quoted text, spanning several paragraphs. Rasnaboy (talk) 11:44, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
