Still owned by Gawker Media?

I noticed that the Gawker Media article lists this blog as "formerly owned by", in addition to noticing its omission from being linked/connected to the other Gawker blogs. So the question is, which article is current in the information? --99.186.111.95 (talk) 03:25, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

The whois info for Fleshbot.com is the same as that of other Gawker sites, and no official statements about a sale have been made. On Boinkology, the editor of Fleshbot still lists Fleshbot as "Gawker Media's blog about sex, porn, and the web". Plus, the "advertising" link at the bottom of Fleshbot goes to advertising.gawker.com. Basically, it seems Gawker Media still owns Fleshbot, but doesn't like to talk about it. 82.73.154.190 (talk) 11:01, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

WHOIS record

The source for the statement about the WHOIS record appears to be dynamic. Is there a way to archive it? Wank Hilliams (talk) 00:50, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Updating entry

This entry sorely needs updating. The site has changed significantly, not least of which is that it's a pale version of itself and almost completely composed of advertising masked as "articles." It's terrible. 150.135.165.33 (talk) 17:24, 3 May 2023 (UTC)

  • Article recently expanded and is long enough. Referencing is adequate, with no copyvio detected (Earwig flagged a couple clearly marked quotes and a few 4/5-word phrases). Hooks are interesting, prefer ALT0 but either is fine. Both are cited inline and mentioned, verified in the sources. QPQ provided, so good to go. Juxlos (talk) 12:21, 29 December 2025 (UTC)
