Buggy citation
There is a citation that is broken. Can someone fix it? Floating Orb (talk) 19:53, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
Badly written sentence
In the population section, there is a sentence: "Out of the 16.0%, 4.0% (741,879) were West Indian or Afro-Caribbean American". This is egregiously bad composition, does the 4% mean 4% of the 16%, or 4% of the total referred to by the 16%? A more skilled writer would say something like "Out of the 16.0%, one quarter (741,879) were West Indian or Afro-Caribbean American", and avoid the ambiguity.
I'd change it, but the article is (not surprisingly) edit-locked. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:589:300:C7C0:A473:F01C:3B31:48FF (talk) 22:38, 3 July 2025 (UTC)

In 1979 the Information please almanac says Florida is 54,090 square miles. It is listed here as 65,578. When did it grow? 209.239.54.25 (talk) 19:31, 22 September 2025 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. I'm not sure why that source gives a different figure, but the figure in our article comes from the US Census Bureau, a reliable source. Day Creature (talk) 20:07, 22 September 2025 (UTC)

Change Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America.
Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{Edit semi-protected}}template. Please also consider you have to explain why you think your version is better. Guidelines that may be useful are mostly at WP:PLACENAME. Thank you and happy editing, Slomo666 (talk) 16:08, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
- Please also see the discussions on Talk:Gulf of Mexico, including the Frequently asked questions section. Unless and until the community decides to rename that article, we will use "Gulf of Mexico" elsewhere, including here, in Wikipedia. Donald Albury 16:57, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
