@Olliewally As was noted by another editor, the problem is described at MOS:IPC. Basically, such sections can exist, when content is referenced to reliable secondary sources. Recently I was just writing such a section in Allied_prisoners_of_war_of_Japan#Cultural_impact_and_remembrance, and we have fixed many other related articles; for an entire article, take a look for example at Venus in fiction. Can you see the difference between them and the messy, underreferenced trivia list we had here? Gabier in culture may well be an important topic to write about, but it has to be done in a different way; what was here was just too low quality to warrant keeping (see also WP:FANCRUFT, WP:NOTTVTROPES). - oh yeah looking at that you're totally right. i'm a newborn here so i didn't really know where to check for that-- i might try to fix the list later if i have time (i probably won't, other archangel nerds please cover me on this one) but thanks for pointing that out :) Olliewally (talk) 05:00, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
- @Olliewally Np. Welcome to the Wikiworld, lots of fun stuff to write about. Angels in culture needs to be written, for example... so much to do. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:14, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
- ooohhh i might make at least a stub of that page or something :3 Olliewally (talk) 15:04, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
- @Olliewally Go for it. Two good book sources show up at the top here, more can likely be found scrolling down like . Since you are new here, check Help:Finding sources for a ton of tips on how to access stuff that appears to be paywalled/etc. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:44, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
