Reinhold Messner
He was not Italian, he was Austrian. 2600:1008:A016:3250:F922:C0E4:35F4:14AF (talk) 22:42, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
- Nnnnno, dude's Italian:
Messner was born to a German-speaking family in St. Peter, Villnöß, near Brixen in South Tyrol, which is part of Italy.
Also, at the risk of jinxing it, present tense is more appropriate for a living subject than past tense. NekoKatsun (nyaa) 14:30, 4 August 2025 (UTC)
The third Pakistani woman to summit K2
Sultana Nasab, from Shimshal, is the third Pakistani woman to summit K2 in July 2024, while she was 5 months pregnant. I believe that is a extraordinary feat that should be mentioned on this page.

- There may be other perspectives here that would make such an entry controversial - see for example Placental Adaptation to Hypoxia: The Case of High-Altitude Pregnancies ChaseKiwi (talk) 15:36, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
- Do multiple reliable sources refer to this as an extraordinary feat in the context of K2 climbing in general? If you have a look at the selected climbing records on this page, we don't even list each country's first ascent, let alone third; I'm also not sure if her being pregnant would be reason enough to mention her summit (to me, it sounds unnecessarily risky to her, her pregnancy, and frankly everyone else on the mountain with her). The location mentioned is wrong. It is actually in India as according to the borders of the country it is in India.
Pok is illegally captured by pakistan so it doesn’t come in pakistan nor in china rather it is India Sneha00444 (talk) 08:36, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
- Do you have reliable sources that state that it's in India? This is something that's been discussed here many times before; I advise you to read those comments - especially Talk:K2#Highest point in Pakistan? before proceeding. NekoKatsun (nyaa) 17:44, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
