Please combine the hatnotes since Kyiv and Kiev mean the same thing. Having them in separate hatnotes makes no sense at all.

The specific note about Chicken kiev was only added a few weeks ago. I've reverted it. --User:Khajidha (talk) (contributions) 18:59, 17 December 2025 (UTC)
Good point! ScottyNolan (talk) 20:35, 9 March 2026 (UTC)

There is a spelling mistake but it's protected so we can't edit 💔

"Includesthe". First paragraph ~2026-32962-9 (talk) 21:21, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

Fixed. Thanks, CMD (talk) 05:36, 16 January 2026 (UTC)

Name of the city

The correct name of the city is Kiev. Bashkortostan702 (talk) 16:36, 20 January 2026 (UTC)

See WP:KYIV. We've been having this discussion for so long that it literally has its own internal page. Legendbird (talk) 12:22, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
From 1995 Kyiv is the only right and official name. The city is named after a potential founder of that city - Kyi, that logically leads to "Kyiv". (By legend Kyiv was found by three brothers: Kyi, Shchek,Khoryv— and their sister Lybid). Also, It's the right transliteration from ukrainian. ~2026-16120-59 (talk) 16:25, 14 March 2026 (UTC)
As a separate language, English can and often does use different names than Ukrainian. --User:Khajidha (talk) (contributions) 14:21, 16 March 2026 (UTC)

Grammatical Mistake, needs edit

"It has lost its dependence on the armaments industry, which has adversely affecting the city's science and technology sectors, but the growth of the services and finance sectors has facilitated funding for the development of housing and urban infrastructure." SirJasone (talk) 19:57, 23 January 2026 (UTC)

Infrastructure

The Infrastructure section is woefully underdeveloped. Energy, water, and sanitation are literally the same as it was I wrote them three years ago. They are not irrelevant. (They need to be expanded nationally.) I half expected to be reverted. The lack of development is a symbol of Europe's failure: the European propaganda system said nothing, so y'all said nothing. Do your job. int21h (talk · contribs · email) 06:06, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
