Help with moving/renaming page

Hi there,

I'm trying to get this page moved/redirected from its current name LMAX Exchange to LMAX Group but don't have the right permissions to do so.

Please can someone do this for me?

When repairing your failed attempts I linked to Help:How to move a page, where it is stated that you need to make 10 article edits before you get that permission. I suggest going to Special:RecentChanges and undoing some vandalism. --bdijkstra (talk) 13:01, 6 February 2020 (UTC)

Requested edit

Correction needed: Net Income, GBP for financials

Hi. I work for Vested, a communications agency for LMAX. I am following the WP:PAID and WP:COI policies and wanted to note that the net income in the Infobox is incorrect. The figure given is an incorrect conversion of GBP to dollars. It should be:

| net_income = £13.9 million (2020)^[1]

I’d also request a correction of the currency for revenue, total assets and total equity. The currency of the annual report is British pounds (£) not USD (see pg. 25 and 26 of annual report). A conversion to dollars was not in the annual report or in the media - and as the mistake in net income shows, it’s not a good idea for Wikipedia to try to do it independently.

The revised infobox should read:

|revenue = £50.94 million (2020)^[1]

| net_income = £13.9 million (2020)^[1] | assets = £326.85 million (2020)^[1]

| equity = £25.5 million (2020)^[1]

Greetings Sunshine0826! I understand your concern, and I agree with you on publishing results in pounds sterling rather than converting to US dollars. I can make the edits and publish them for you, since I have no connection to LMAX Group. But you are citing the company's annual report. That's what is termed a primary source. Wikipedia prefers secondary sources. (The distinction is explained here in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:No_original_research#Primary,_secondary_and_tertiary_sources) In this case, a good secondary source would be an article published in a newspaper with a reputation for fact-checking (e.g. The Financial Times or The Economist) or a rating agency (e.g. Moody's or Standard and Poor's) or a security analyst report that verifies even some of the 2020 financial results. Can you direct me to any of those? If no secondary sources are available, the annual report and corporate disclosure documents can be our references; these are good primary sources, at least for publicly traded companies, because they are reviewed for accuracy by legal counsel and accountants before publication. I've made the requested changes, but I'm wondering why we're reporting figures for the year ended Dec. 31, 2020. That was almost two years ago. Surely results for the year ended Dec. 31, 2021 are available by now. Why aren't they on the LMAX web site? BuzzWeiser196 (talk) 11:14, 27 October 2022 (UTC)

Brycehughes, BuzzWeiser196 and Geraldshields11. Financials for 2021 were released yesterday! Apologies for not having the updated numbers when I pointed out the error for 2020, I wasn’t privy to when the 2021 annual report would be released. Here are the 2021 numbers:
