CURRENT: In October 2025, during a concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Lorde exclaimed "free fucking Palestine", to show solidarity with the Palestinians.

CHANGE TO:

In October 2025, during her performance of "Team" at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Lorde exclaimed "free fucking Palestine" while spotlights above her turned to the colors of the Palestinian flag. Please change the 2025 photo, this has been deliberately chosen to be as unflattering as possible. Suggest to use the third photo from this Reddit post https://www.reddit.com/r/lorde/s/mMfFQdl2ft if it meets requirements. Aitchy b (talk) 02:48, 9 January 2026 (UTC)

Those photos would need to be licensed under a Creative Commons license or another copyright-free or public domain license to be usable. Feel free to check out the Lorde category on Wikimedia Commons for possible alternatives. LivelyRatification (talk) 07:08, 9 January 2026 (UTC)

@Aitchy b I doubt this image was "deliberately chosen to be as unflattering as possible" as you say, but feel free to suggest some other options if you wish.

These must be free to use images, such as those under a Creative Commons license or in the public domain. You can see Commons:FAQ#What licenses do the files I want to upload have to use? for more information about this, and Commons:Welcome for more general info, such as how to upload ones if needed.

The image you suggested, from Reddit, is not released under any of these licences.

There is a spurious reference [25] located in the Lorde page in the section "2009-2012: Career beginnings" Following the specific link reveals no Lorde related material, and nothing that is specifically referenced in the paragraphs that contain them.

I propose that this single referenced link [25] link is replaced with three bona-fide links that reference the gigs mentioned in the main text correctly.

The links provided below are links to the actual EventFinder gig invites I personally posted to EventFinder in 2010, and which survive to this day online. I personally organised these gigs for the duo at the time.
