Not done for now: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. Theeverywhereperson talk here 07:06, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
Hello, I'd like to add a gallery section with this pictures of the artist's paintings. I added the code bellow, but I'm not sure if it shows. Please let me know how I can do it. Thank you. Artful Historian (talk) 11:53, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
It isn't showing. Try putting it and do not use an LLM. Theeverywhereperson talk here 13:16, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
Sure, thanks. Artful Historian (talk) 13:17, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
Trying to edit the artile, but I still can't. Artful Historian (talk) 13:20, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
I didn't tell you to try to edit the article. Please check your contributions to see that you are blocked and you should paste your requested changes into a 'Change X to Y' or 'Add X' or 'Remove X' format with rationale. Theeverywhereperson talk here 13:31, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
Where can I learn how to do an 'Add X' format? Artful Historian (talk) 13:41, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
Nowhere. You simply put Add: then whatever you want to add. Provide links to files if they can't show, or put text, use templates and other parts of wikitext if needed, and add citations if needed. Theeverywhereperson talk here 17:37, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
It doesn't let me add the code to create the gallery, just the pictures. Artful Historian (talk) 17:53, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
That's what you should do, but since this isn't what I can do or am capable of doing, I cannot help you any further. Goodbye. The gallery does not need code, as the pictures can be scattered near the bottom of this page. You may as well abandon this request, as galleries are not something Wikipedia articles have, per WP:NOTGALLERY, and the accompanying text can be simplified to the less usual and less needed _____________ in (year). Theeverywhereperson talk here 18:00, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
Thanks for your help. I will request edits for expanding text then. Thank you. Artful Historian (talk) 09:45, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
You seem to have started the below edit requests with the template already marking them as declined. I've reopened them for you and also cleaned up the formatting a little bit. Rusalkii (talk) 18:07, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
Thank you very much for your help!! Artful Historian (talk) 18:33, 9 April 2026 (UTC)

I'd like to fix main cite

The right cite for the mentioned journal would be:

Sampedro Escolar, José Luis (2004). "Manuel Benedito, retratista áulico" (PDF). Anales de la Real Academia Matritense de Heráldica y Genealogía (in Spanish). 8. Real Academia Matritense de Heráldica y Genealogía: 979–1002.

I'd like to expand text on Biography

Add:In 1897 he won a Third Medal at the National Exhibition for his painting The Washing after Work. Later, he continued his training thanks to a scholarship that allowed him to spend four years at the Spanish Academy in Rome, where he shared classes with artists Eduardo Chicharro and Fernando Álvarez de Sotomayor. [1][2]

Add: After this period of training, Benedito developed an active artistic career in different parts of Europe. In 1905 he settled in Brittany, France, where he created works inspired by the fishing life in Concarneau. Later, he worked in towns in Salamanca, Spain, producing paintings with everyday life and traditional themes. He also traveled to the Netherlands and lived in Paris for a few years, where he painted Cleo de Merode.[1][3][4]

Change: He was a member of the Academia de Bellas Artes de España from 1900 to 1904 and later worked as a teacher at the School of San Fernando.

To: Between 1911 and 1913, he worked as a drawing teacher at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Madrid. Later, he became professor of color and composition at this institution and eventually served as director until 1945. [1][4]

Manuel Benedito was granted many awards and honors, including medals from national and international exhibitions, as well as important official decorations. He also took part in cultural institutions, becoming a member of several boards and a full member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando. [1]
