Misleading wording
The line "As producer, Robbie bought the rights from Mattel for a film about the eponymous fashion doll in 2018." is misleading. It should read, "As producer, Robbie licensed the rights from Mattel for a film about the eponymous fashion doll in 2018."
True story, my best friend's dad was convinced Margot Robbie owned Barbie because of this line in this article. Robbie didn't buy the rights, she licensed them from Mattel. Wording needs revision. Chrispysaid (talk) 11:49, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
