Lionsgate

I removed the edit of the Thomas movie of being Lionsgate, is there any confirmed information about that? 172.100.171.82 (talk) 16:07, 23 June 2024 (UTC)

No, there isn't. The Thomas film is still in early development. SleepyRedHair (talk) 13:49, 25 June 2025 (UTC)

Mattel FilmsMattel StudiosMattel Studios – The article says that since early June 2025, the company is now Mattel Studios. Georgia guy (talk) 13:32, 25 June 2025 (UTC)  Relisting. ModernDayTrilobite (talkcontribs) 16:26, 3 July 2025 (UTC)  Relisting. TarnishedPathtalk 06:40, 11 July 2025 (UTC)

Support: This rename is supported by multiple sources which all seem reliable, so I don't see any reason to oppose. SleepyRedHair (talk) 13:49, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
Oppose article makes clear that Mattel Films and Mattel Television were merged to form a new entity. The content of this article strictly covers Mattel Films while containing no information about Mattel Television; a new article should be created for the new entity at Mattel Studios. Glad to be side-by-side with you on a discussion again after almost 4 months! Regarding your last line of a new article should be created for the new entity at Mattel Studios. See why lots of WP titles get unnecessarily changed? This was just announced (June 2)! A year from now, the Mattel Studios should have its own article! Intrisit (talk) 15:15, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
Oppose I'm as damned as what (never mind totally shocked) that even an RM was thought about, let alone enacted, for this title. I haven't even fully fleshed out enough sources for not only this article and Mattel Television, but also prior Mattel production banners; Mattel Entertainment, the original Mattel Studios and even Barbie Entertainment, let alone the current Mattel Studios, only to see this pop out of nowhere. Per the sources from Mattel themselves and unconnected sources (which I inserted into both articles with my latest edits, hence why it appears now that they're defunct), this was just announced. Georgia guy and SleepyRedHair, I dare you to look at the far beginning of the page histories of Mattel Films and Mattel Television and see for yourselves where they began from? A year from now, the Mattel Studios title should have its own article! This is just like the Disney Star/JioStar article with lots and lots of disagreements with its own title change. Intrisit (talk) 15:15, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
Oppose. Simply no case to answer. The nomination refers to multiple sources which all seem reliable but gives no examples. My hunch is that they are all primary sources derived from the renaming announcement. Andrewa (talk) 00:11, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
