Controveries

I did not originally object to the formation of a controversies section when I had previously edited on this article due to not wanting to spend time writing a public image section, but it seems that this section has lasted quite a while. It seems to me to be a clear NPOV violation and the content just reads as a general list of controversies many of which do not seem to warrant mention at all. I agree with you. We don't seem to be looking at controversies that are WP:DUE. Instead, the creation of the section seems to be acting as flypaper for topics that were flash-in-the-pan viral and not independently widely reported by WP:RS. It would be better if sections that were actually WP:DUE were incorporated into the body of the article rather than having a separate section that editors feel the need to fill with irrelevant controversy. Yeah, this article is a confusing mix between MrBeast (the person) and MrBeast (his businesses). The "MrBeast Burger" controversy section, for instance, doesn't belong in this article and would be better placed (if not already) in the MrBeast Burger article.  Not done: I removed the entire sentence since it was unsourced. Please consider finding a source for the claim before adding it back in. jolielover♥talk 06:04, 5 February 2026 (UTC)

Change "His YouTube Shorts video "Would You Fly to Paris for a Baguette?" is the most-watched video on his main YouTube channel, having more than 1.5 billion views and 56 million likes as of May 2025." to "His YouTube Shorts video "Giving iPhones Instead of Candy on Halloween" is the most-watched video on his main YouTube channel, having more than 1.6 billion views and 41 million likes as of February 2026."

I want to add that this Youtube video has less likes than the original, so both videos could be quoted to make separate statements about MrBeast's most viewed and most liked video. You can check MrBeast's Youtube channel to prove this statement. PokemonBrawlStars (talk) 00:59, 17 February 2026 (UTC)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want made. Day Creature (talk) 21:43, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
sorry to barge in, but "Would You Fly to Paris for a Baguette?" currently has 100M more views than "Giving iPhones Instead of Candy on Halloween". 203N7HN6 (talk) 11:25, 26 February 2026 (UTC)

generally unreliable sources (cite unseen)

of course, cite unseen is a script and can be wrong. Thats why i want to reach a consensus first before actually deciding what to do with these cites(BLP) (i didnt include the ones which i felt where important like yioutube videos from mrbeast or guiness wr.) would love to hear a consensus :) 203N7HN6 (talk) 11:35, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
