Note should be added about Maxine Hudson

Granted this article specifies first woman from a specific program, but without any additional context it could be seen as misleading. A note would help. 2603:7080:9207:AD00:F8F6:3667:2CA7:4E0 (talk) 17:45, 10 May 2025 (UTC)

Ilhan Omar Censure Vote

I'm a newer editor, but given that Mace's relationship with Ilhan Omar is already mentioned, should her recent resolution to censure Omar and strip her of her committee seats be mentioned? The article currently portrays them as somewhat friendly, but in the wake of Kirk's assassination, their relationship has soured. Mace recently said Omar isn't "compatible" with Western values, and Omar called her mentally unwell.

I'm not sure what that sentence should look like, but I thought it was worth bringing to someone's attention. Sharky2585 (talk) 16:45, 2 October 2025 (UTC)

WikiLies re: her military service

She’s never been in the military. The school she attended is a pretend military academy with no ties to the US Military except ROTC which you can be part of at a number of schools some people would say at communist. Citadel was founded in 1842 by whites afraid of slave revolts by the majority blacks. So saying she has any service: WikiLies! 24.183.15.90 (talk) 14:36, 19 October 2025 (UTC)

Where does this article suggest she has military service?  Muboshgu (talk) 15:43, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
Well, if you read her bio one of the questions asked is about her ‘military career’. You research under that and the first thing you get the Wiki article yakking about her time at the Citadel. Since knowing stuff is not an American tradition, the average person will think the citadel is tied to the US Military, which it ain’t. So confusion from Wiki lies. 24.183.15.90 (talk) 13:55, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
So your point is that we shouldn't mention her time at the Citadel because people might think she was in the military?  Muboshgu (talk) 16:33, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
Yep. If I played the kid’s ‘Operation’ no source should try to pass me off as a Neurosurgeon. If you get my meaning… 24.183.15.90 (talk) 18:36, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
You think we should exclude important biographical information because readers may be too stupid to understand it. Hard pass. You need more WP:AGF for our readers.  Muboshgu (talk) 18:51, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
Here’s the deal: I probably don’t have the width of knowledge that some of your readers do, but what I know from firsthand experience, I know well. And with the AVF concept post-Vietnam, a very small minority of Americans have any direct experience with the military at all, So to most, a uniform is a uniform, no matter who’s in it. Now don’t get me wrong: I’m not dissing ALL Grads of El CID. Some are the deal and have laid it all on the line. But that happened after they graduated and had nothing to do with their barracks soldiering. Most, like Rep. Mace have not. And to give her cred where it’s not deserved just isn’t right. 24.183.15.90 (talk) 20:46, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
"Since knowing stuff is not an American tradition, [...] I know it's great fun to insult people, but it's not helpful to any argument presented. cheers. anastrophe, an editor he is. 18:11, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
Cheers right back at ya. I stand by what I’ve said. 24.183.15.90 (talk) 18:33, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
I don't think we need to entertain this discussion further. The article subject has not had military experience, and the article does not discuss anything like that. Any perception to the contrary is beyond the scope of Wikipedia. --PerpetuityGrat (talk) 21:00, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
