Change climate image for more accurate info edit request on 25 October 2025

Make the image of the Koppen climate map of Nepal more accurate using the 2020 one, as the current one is less accurate, displaying things such as the Mustang region of the country having an oceanic climate rather than a cold semi-arid steppe climate. The 2020 map correctly displays that info. Thanks! Durnehviir909 (talk) 15:04, 25 October 2025 (UTC)

What 2020 map are you referring to? Is it available on Wikimedia Commons? Day Creature (talk) 18:11, 25 October 2025 (UTC)

I am here for source about the term "mulbasi" and it's the castes included in the list. I highly doubt it follows any reliable source and I believe it's misjudgement on ethnic separation. The term mulbasi"मुलबासी " isn't mentioned in constitution either, it's just a word for claiming oneself as natives and others as foreign invaders .Nepwikigod (talk) 10:50, 17 January 2026 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Please detail the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Day Creature (talk) 16:10, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
I want the whole ethnic section added by dickipedia369 on 11 Jan be removed. It's utter nonsense and have no reliable source. There's no separation called shilpi and no word mulbasi in constitution. It's a desperate work of someone to spread communal hatred. The whole tree is wrong, just try clicking on Shilpi or "others" link and it takes you to one single page. It's just out of the blue addition from a guy with wrong intend Nepwikigod (talk) 18:25, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
Courtesy ping: Dickipedia369. Please discuss the edits in question here on the talk page. Day Creature (talk) 18:31, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
I know what are his points and I will counter it before he talk. So mulbasi is a term that means original people of the land. It is a locally used term by a certain community which he belongs from to claim themselves as the original owner of the land of Nepal and others as foreign invaders. The term "mulbasi" should be changed to adivashi janajati and that's how constitution defines it as “marginalized indigenous”. “marginalized indigenous” Nepwikigod (talk) 18:50, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
I wrote a long paragraph but didn't know just half of it would post 😅. I will write again once he brings his points I guess Nepwikigod (talk) 18:52, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
ok for now I will change it to adibasi janjati. Dickipedia369 (talk) 16:15, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
that's how it should be and always will be until you bring any good source. And mushalman(Muslims) don't fall under the category "madheshi" correct it too. It should be separate Nepwikigod (talk) 18:42, 18 January 2026 (UTC)

The economy part is nonsense

give me permit to edit it out. Juddhasumsher (talk) 03:31, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

@Juddhasumsher: We can't do that if you don't explain why. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 03:46, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
the part of slave workers is harsh and inhumane to the people of Nepal. It doesn't explain the economy of the nation and you are writing your imagination. Juddhasumsher (talk) 03:50, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
I deleted the entire section because it was non-neutral and conflated Nepali emigrants with immigrants. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 17:35, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
@Juddhasumsher: By the way, don't accuse Wikipedia editors of being racist because you accuse some statement in the article of being false; see WP:Civil for further explanation. We do not censor content because it is "harsh and inhumane" to a country or ethnic group. It would be on-topic and probably due weight to include information about labor rights violations in a country article. The only reason I did remove the section is because it used non-neutral language, and it conflated sources about Nepali emigrants working in other countries with sources about immigrants working in Nepal. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 17:42, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
Why are we making such claims like child labour in employment section? The post and photo says "citation needed" where is the citations for child labour. This page has to be propaganda against Nepal. Completely disspointed in Wikipedia editors. Editors shouldn't be writing their imagination and labelled photo with "citation needed" and no proper evidence. Please think and thank you. I would love to add the happiness index of Nepal

Let me do it. Thank you. Juddhasumsher (talk) 04:01, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

Non-EC users can request edits to be done on behalf of them, but they cannot be given special permission to edit a particular article. Since you have not provided a reliable source, I am going to decline this informal edit request. Yue🌙 (talk) 07:19, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

Kindly add happiness index. Juddhasumsher (talk) 10:00, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

Where is the source of child labour in Nepal?

i checked everywhere and it's illegal in Nepal. Kindly provide the source to me. Juddhasumsher (talk) 09:54, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

Just becauser it's illegal doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. However, I just removed the caption because there was no source for this claim. If reinstated, someone will have to provide a source. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 17:25, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

This is regarding section "2025 protests and government crisis"

The fourth paragraph in this section mentions "....fled the country". This is factually wrong and needs immediate correction.

References for the fact that the statement is incorrect and the then prime minister after resignation stayed in protection with the Nepalese Army in Kathmandu Valley.
