Early Chinese paper money

Could we have a reference for the statement at the foot of this section "Ever after 1107, the government printed money in no less than six ink colors and printed notes with intricate designs and sometimes even with mixture of a unique fiber in the paper to combat counterfeiting." $55 bill

Is there any reason why Benjamin Franklin designed a $55 bill instead of $50? I know the Canadians had some odd values to match UK pounds. Chemical Engineer (talk) 02:17, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
