Question
Is there a better way to express the implications of choosing psychiatry as a career in the US? Would it be more effective to instead discuss how psychiatry has progressed as a medical field globally, or keep its implications as a career more general, so more people are able to relate to it? deleterious? maybe choose another word?
Within the very first paragraph of the article the word "deleterious" appears. This is a very uncommon word, and as much as I'm a fan of uncommon vocabulary, perhaps we should switch it out for one of its more common synonyms. I suggest harmful or injurious, but I welcome other ideas as well. Moomoobeef (talk) 00:04, 31 December 2025 (UTC)
