Talk:Rash guard

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The difference between rash guards and swim shirts is not very clear. The article says rash guards are tighter than swim shirts. Are they also made of tougher material (to survive use while surfing)? Do they weigh more and are they a little warmer as a result? 220.255.1.59 (talk) 05:55, 25 April 2015 (UTC)

Surfing specific terms

There are a lot of surfing specific terms that perhaps could be linked. Non surfers won't know what "the break" is, for example. So maybe increasing linking might help? I will take a look at doing so based on comments I get here, if any. ++Lar: t/c 14:37, 3 June 2025 (UTC)

If you can provide all this, I see no reason not to split it. IAWW (talk) 21:35, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
Agree with the conditions stated by IAWW above, but it is likely that this article already has sufficient sourcing to show that Rash Guard is notable. Showing that they are distinct classes of equipment may be the tricky bit. · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 15:59, 27 September 2025 (UTC)
