ROMAN REIGNS IS NOT A RAW SUPERSTAR
According to WWE's website, which has been recently updated to show Naomi on RAW, Roman Reigns is still a Smackdown superstar. Even though WWE seem to be ignoring the brand extension at the moment and wrestlers are appearing on any show, his profile still shows the Smackdown logo. Please edit the article to show he performs on the Smackdown Brand.

Unless WWE state he is a RAW superstar, no changes should be made to his brand — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.97.236.62 (talk) 00:01, 5 August 2025 (UTC)

Style
Roman Reigns is known for a powerhouse style — combining athleticism, size and a disciplined ring-presence. Early in his career, while part of The Shield, he was portrayed as the “quiet muscle” of the group, the one who did the heavy lifting rather than cutting long promos.
As his character evolved, Reigns incorporated signature moves like the Superman Punch and the Spear, emphasising impact and dominance over technical or high-flying maneuvers. His in-ring psychology shifted into controlling the tempo, asserting authority, and delivering big moments.
Persona
Reigns’s on-screen persona has gone through several phases:
Heroic Face (2014–2020) – WWE positioned him as the “next face of the company,” a heroic character meant to lead the brand. His push during this era was met with mixed reactions from audiences.
Villain / “The Tribal Chief” (2020–2024) – After a hiatus, he re-emerged aligned with long-time advocate Paul Heyman, adopting the “Head of the Table” and “Tribal Chief” persona: authoritative, dominant, demanding respect (“Acknowledge me!”) and ruling over his faction, the The Bloodline. This heel turn is widely considered his most compelling character work.
Recent Face Turn (2024 onward) – More recently, he has been repositioned more as a face, battling internal faction conflict and re-asserting his leadership in a different light.
Legacy
Family Heritage: Coming from the famed Samoan-American Anoaʻi wrestling family, Roman’s lineage gives his persona added weight.
Championship & Longevity: He has held multiple world championships in WWE, including the Universal and WWE Championships, and his long title reigns helped cement him as a top star.
Character-Reinvention & Audience Connection: His transformation from “perhaps forced face” to elite heel character is often cited as one of the best reinventions in modern WWE. Critics have praised his “Tribal Chief” storyline as elevating his status and renewing audience interest.
Influence on the Industry: By adopting a dominant, tribal-chieftain style character, he has influenced how top stars are portrayed (#ruthless ruler style).
Bridging Eras: Reigns has been a central figure during WWE’s shift into new media, mainstream exposure, and the era of long-term storytelling, making him one of the defining faces of his generation. 2409:40E1:10BD:702C:8000:0:0:0 (talk) 00:31, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
