Selena Sales
Hi, why can't Selena's sales figure be changed and updated? The San Antonio Current reported a few months ago that Selena had sold 80 million records. Angiricc05 (talk) 23:05, 22 November 2025 (UTC)
- She went from 18 to 80 million in 5 years? Tbhotch™ (CC BY-SA 4.0) 23:10, 22 November 2025 (UTC)
- Drive-by-comment: we could find another figure from a reliable source, not necessarily we need to jump to highest reported sales, as sometimes are less realistic. Record sales are tricky, though probably she is likely safe between at 25-30-35 to my obsrv. Cheers, --Apoxyomenus (talk) 00:06, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
- Anybody posthumously would still sell and sell and sell as days, weeks, months, years, decades, and even centuries pass by as long as their following, impact, and legacy continues to grow. Selena should be at 80 million records sold as of now as we speak. I feel like 18 million is by the time of her death, which is nearly 31 years ago. So therefore, it could be possible that she is no longer there, now at 80 million today. Plus San Antonio Current seems legitimate. ~2026-12834-11 (talk) 20:56, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
