Shape of the tablets
I looked at all the art/photographs on this page. The appearance of the tablets appears to always be a flat bottom and flat sides but being rounded at the top. I'm curious as to where this appearance originated. Normally, a tablet (as in a notepad) would be flat on all four sides, and a tablet (as in a medicine pill) would be cylindrical.161.11.160.176 (talk) 15:30, 22 August 2025 (UTC)
- The “tablets” are traditionally thought to be stone tablets, with engraved writings - the notepad hadn’t been invented yet. I’ve no idea where the artistic traditional depiction originated though. ~2025-36867-57 (talk) 19:23, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
Revert
There is no way to have a liberal democracy if the first four commandments are to be upheld. That's why I reverted. Upholding the Ten Commandments would mean the instant demise of Western-style state of law. tgeorgescu (talk) 14:37, 20 September 2025 (UTC)
