NHSTA Testing has happened
please update the section relative to the NHSTA rating https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2025/TESLA/CYBERTRUCK%252520(ALL%252520VARIANTS)/PU%25252FCC/AWD - it got 5 stars by the way MisinformationJusticeWarrior (talk) 03:25, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
The whole incidents section
I'm not sure this is relevant to put here. The dude just happened to choose a cybertruck. there isn't a whole section devoted to OJ Simpson Ford Bronco car chase, just a small footnote that Ford doesn't think that it impacted sales. The investigators don't seem to believe it was specifically chosen by the veteran. regardless, it has its own article so no reason to have it here. Use of the Cybertruck in the construction industry
Several contractors have begun experimenting with the Tesla Cybertruck as a utility vehicle on job sites, citing its high payload capacity and stainless‑steel exoskeleton. The vehicle’s “tough” body panels resist denting during typical site operations, while its electric drivetrain reduces on‑site emissions. Critics, however, note the limited availability of service centres and the higher upfront cost compared with conventional diesel pickups.

- We can't use self-published youtube videos as sources, see WP:RS. - MrOllie (talk) 03:30, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- More specifically, WP:RSPYOUTUBE gives a summary of why YouTube videos are generally not good to use. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) 03:38, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- Better to source from here: https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/cybertruck/en_us/GUID-CC0004CA-C1AA-42E8-9412-B921D3B31811.html 87.119.177.59 (talk) 06:12, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- Considering that is the Tesla website, that is both a WP:PRIMARY and a non-independent source, and shouldn't be used. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) 06:17, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- The provide link is to owner's manual and it is perfectly OK to use it for non-promotional technical information. But this link is for section "Doors" of user manual, and it is unclear how it can be used. --Altenmann >talk 06:48, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry, I meant it as in relation to the original query; in relation to technical information, it absolutely could be used. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) 06:49, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- @87.119.177.59:, please be specific which exactly information you want to add to the article. Article talk pages are not for arbitrary chats, which are waste of other editors' time. --Altenmann >talk 06:48, 24 August 2025 (UTC)

Doors and Access
Doors are electrically powered. When you approach Cybertruck carrying a phone key, the doors and tailgate automatically unlock. To open a door, press the exterior door release button on the pillar to the right of each door. You can also open a door using the Tesla mobile app. Additionally, the mobile app allows you to remotely unlock and open the doors for others when connected to the vehicle. - An accurate quotation, but a completely irrelevant one. What is your point? MrOllie (talk) 21:36, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
- "A distinctive feature of the Cybertruck is its door design, which includes an emergency release mechanism—an element that merits mention due to its relevance to safety and functionality." https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/cybertruck/en_us/GUID-903C82F8-8F52-450C-82A8-B9B4B34CD54E.html Editorq35 (talk) 11:02, 22 September 2025 (UTC)
Repairs
Worth noting this video for context or possible future inclusion in "Body construction" or "Repairability" sections (not as a reliable source, but as an illustrative example).
How to fix BULLET HOLES on a CYBERTRUCK! (YouTube, 2024) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiape5LWcvw
Shows independent attempts at body repair on a Cybertruck, including commentary on material challenges. Could be useful for article research or discussion of the vehicle’s repairability/artistic use cases. Editorq35 (talk) 11:11, 22 September 2025 (UTC)
- No, it is not useful. As has been explained to you already, youtube videos aren't good sources. And irrelevant links to the owner's manual do not help either. MrOllie (talk) 11:59, 22 September 2025 (UTC)
- WP:RS, WP:YOUTUBE and WP:SELFPUBLISHED are your guide here. Self published videos are usually not suitable. Stepho talk 05:11, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
Sales section
this page is missing sales section, same as the Ford lightning has. Any reason it is not listed here? Prservicesyukon (talk) 05:04, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
