Toei Mita Line → Mita line – For Singapore MRT's lines, all of which have renamed from "xxx MRT line" to "xxx line" as the main article names. Does that case suitable for Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway series? Sinsyuan✍️TW→GA 03:41, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose: This removes from each line an identification of which system each belongs, as Tokyo technically has two independent subway systems. While many other cities have merged theirs (see eg IRT/BMT/IND merger into the modern New York City Subway), Toei Subway and Tokyo Metro are two different systems run by two separate concerns that serve the same city and share stations---bu I believe you have to pay a fare to pass between them. - Is there any consensus for article names of Tokyo Metro's lines and Toei Subway's lines? I think the relationship is similar to Taipei Metro and New Taipei Metro. Sinsyuan✍️TW→GA 12:14, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
