The Trump Gold Card Isn't Project Based
The 1MM that the Trump Gold Card asks for is an unconditional gift to the Treasury and does not have the potential for return to the applicant. That is not the case for EB-5 visas. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.208.182.197 (talk) 12:27, 21 September 2025 (UTC)

An article on the same topic was previously deleted here. Any reason not to put this up for speedy deletion due to WP:G4? 📻NuclearSpuds🎙️ 00:56, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

- It's speculation and no clear proof it will ever see the light of day. Immigration law isn't created by the executive branch. It is created by the legislature. CaribDigita (talk) 14:53, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
- @CaribDigita This hasn’t been put in the article yet but there has been a lot of media coverage over plans underway to implement the card, which puts it past just something trump has floated, which is the reason it was deleted the first time. 📻NuclearSpuds🎙️ 17:37, 6 June 2025 (UTC)

Questions
If I read that correctly on trumpcard.gov, the Corporate Gold (will there be also a Corporate Platinum sothat big companies go totally untaxed? Does the Orange Guy want to attract European and other Digital Companies to move to the U.S.?) mentions that the donation is only taken once, for every additional employee there's just the 15k processing fee afterwards. Do I read that correctly? So if, let's say SAP wants to pay no taxes anymore to Germany, they just move their corporate headquarter there, the CEO donates some millions, and then (if they even need that) they send a few employees to the U.S. for actually pocket change.
And there is no mentioning of Trump Gold Card waiting list. Only waiting list mentioned is for the Platinum.
AAAAANNNNDDDD... it is revokable like every other visa. But in fact it will be also revokable by a new Executive Order of the next president, should that not be mentioned first and foremost in the Wikipedia article? People sometimes are silly and do NOT know that an Executive Order, especially a bad one, only lives upto the next president takes office. Foerdi (talk) 15:12, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
- And, just came to my mind, if the next prez revokes the E.O. then people surely sue the gov and want their "donation" back... If not for many legal cases, it will surely make many occurences in media. Worst case, the next president will take revenge on these "poor" (money-laundering) souls, and revoke their visas on the first day, and on the second day the "new" ICE pulls them by their hair to the next flight going back where they came from... Interesting times. Did someone already mention, that the Orange is crazy? But wikipedia is neutral, I know I know, I know you know Foerdi (talk) 15:18, 16 December 2025 (UTC)

Trump Gold Card → Trump Card – Seeing there are many variants. (Personal) Gold, then Corporate Gold, (Personal) Platinum, and TBD Corporate Platinum. I request this article should be renamed to more generic "Trump Card". In his McD-drivenfueled wisdom I would not be shocked when he next announces Trump Black Card: "citizenship and never pay taxes anymore for life, for only 100M, get it now before there will be a never ending waiting list!"Foerdi (talk) 16:12, 16 December 2025 (UTC) Foerdi (talk) 16:29, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose it is most known as the Trump Gold Card per Google and even how the Company WH is promoting it. Docmoates (talk) 17:21, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose as not the primary topic for "Trump Card" so even if the shorter name is slightly more common the current one works as WP:NATURALDIS. * Pppery * it has begun... 17:38, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose Per every other potential primary topic on the Trump card page. Furthermore, the "platinum card" is not as widely-mentioned as the gold card. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 17:50, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
Replacement for Green Card?
He calls it the "Green Card on Steroids": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFkxcHYdTqY
And at the same time he uses the Brown shooting as patsy to cancel the Green Card Program altogether ... Foerdi (talk) 16:59, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
