Poverty (HIV in Uganda)

As a result, young women tend to have older and more sexually experienced partners and this puts women at a disproportionate risk of getting affected by HIV, accounting for about 57 per cent of all adults living with HIV in Uganda.[124] → The figure in this sentence is gravely wrong. From the original reference, it is 5.7 per cent, not 57 per cent.

Population of capital city

The lead says 8.5 million live in the capital and largest city, Kampala. This is in conflict with the Kampala's own article, where the in the lead says the Kampala metro area has a population "estimated at 6,709,900", The infobox has that number for the metro area , in addition to the city's population. The numbers should be consistent across wiki.

question

what resources did the British want from the Ugandans? And how did they treat the Ugandans? ~2025-39322-81 (talk) 17:51, 8 December 2025 (UTC)

Hi there! The talk page is for discussing the article, not for discussing the relation between the British and the Ugandans. Lova Falk (talk) 18:31, 8 December 2025 (UTC)

The population of Uganda is 45 million people not 49 million. The source is UGANDA NATIONAL BUREAU OF STATISTICS (UNBS),a census was carried out it's not an estimate. ~2026-59102-6 (talk) 18:30, 27 January 2026 (UTC)

Not done for now: Provide a link to your source, please. FMRadio(talk | edits | she/her) 20:31, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
Done source was easy to find.😀 Lova Falk (talk) 15:53, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
PS I couldn't figure out how to remove the word "estimated" from the infobox. If an editor knows how, please, remove! Found it in another article! Lova Falk (talk) 16:06, 1 February 2026 (UTC)

Industry section doesn't mention industry

I would think GDP and economic growth figures would be part of the preceding section (Economy and Infrastructure). There's something about agriculture and petroleum earlier that could be used. SaintAloysius (talk) 19:22, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
