Talk:Unang Kilig

Revert

@Royiswariii i wish you properly reviewed my changes first before doing such a major revert. my changes were in good faith and sourced. you should have paused to review and maybe tagged me on this talk page. remember wikipedia is a collaborative project. i literally spent like an hour expanding and improving, such as including the star cinema films recreated in the music video, with a proper source. why would you just wipe it all so you can "build" all over again? i may be a temp editor but please exercise more caution. ~2026-10002-49 (talk) 04:23, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

Did you read my reason? ROY is WAR Talk! 04:30, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
"need to construct again" is not really a good reason considering that i was merely building off what you and the other editors already wrote. what you did was outright remove all of my contributions even though they were improvements to the article (e.g. expanding the lead section, adding the films they recreated in the mv, adding mv director, etc. that's what i did).
if you disagree with anything, like i said, you can always just edit the article without wiping it to the version i didn't contribute to. or we can talk here. i just hope you don't do that again.
btw, i still disagree with adding the "track listing" section because the article is about the song "unang kilig" only. "honey honey" is a part of the single album, but obviously a separate song. you can see it in other articles like The Subway (Chappell Roan song). it doesn't list the b-side tracklist, but only mentions the b-side in the infobox. ~2026-10002-49 (talk) 04:39, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
It is a reason tho. You might read this similar what I do "Blow it up and start over". I know that you edit is AGF, I reverted it and i added again the necessary part. ROY is WAR Talk! 04:42, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
okay, but was my version of the page irreparable? did expanding the lead section, adding a music video section, and adding credits from tidal render the page irreparable? don't just point to policy. ask yourself if the policy applies. i'm being very polite here. all i'm asking is for you to examine your actions. ~2026-10002-49 (talk) 04:45, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
The music video, credits, and lead are fine as long as it was mentioned in the reliable source. ROY is WAR Talk! 04:50, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
yes, and my changes did use reliable sources. i will explain this again to you.
you removed all of my edits, even though all of them are sourced and in good faith. the policy you linked above only applies if the editor is so incompetent or obviously a vandal that the article cannot be fixed without starting all over again. this clearly does not apply to my changes. look at my edits on the page and go through my contributions and let me know if you think i'm incompetent and/or a vandal.
all i ask is for you to understand why what you did was wrong in this instance, and why you should exercise more caution next time. that's all. ~2026-10002-49 (talk) 04:53, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
