Hi. I'm an associate professor of anthropology at The University of Hawaii at Manoa. I have a BA in anthropology from Reed College and an MA and Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Chicago. My speciality is mining and indigenous people in Papua New Guinea. I'm interested in intellectual history and use wikipedia a lot, so I figured I'd help out.
