My interests and contributionsBusiness and technologyI’ve always been inspired by companies and people that bring bold ideas and breakthrough technologies to life. With a degree in international business and over 16 years in an engineering company, I try to use this background to improve Wikipedia’s coverage of notable companies and industries. Some of my edits I make directly as a volunteer, while others come from my consulting work; whenever paid contributions or conflict of interest) are involved, I disclose them openly in line with Wikipedia’s Terms of Use and related policies. ♥ I’m thankful to fellow editors who take the time to peer-review these contributions, and I see it as a true team effort to keep articles accurate and balanced. Non-profits and charitiesI believe that non-profit organizations play a vital role in helping those in need, and I want their impact to be fairly represented on Wikipedia. Nature and conservationMy fascination with nature, especially through documentaries like those narrated by David Attenborough, has led me to edit articles about conservation, ecotourism, and environmental organizations. I see this as one way to support awareness of our natural world and the efforts to protect it. Film and musicThere was a time when I thought about making this passion my career, but I’m happy that it has remained a hobby I can enjoy without pressure, contributing to articles about musicians, films, and media projects. People and biographiesI admire individuals who make a difference in science, business, and the arts. When I come across people whose work inspires me, I try to improve their biographies or create new ones, always relying on reliable sources to make their achievements more visible. General maintenanceI also enjoy the quieter side of my contributions: copy editing, fixing inaccuracies, adding reliable sources, and reverting vandalism when I notice it. It’s part of helping Wikipedia stay accurate and easy to use. |
