James June Schneider (born 1971 in Washington DC) is a filmmaker, video performer,[1][2] and teacher. The films he has directed include the documentary Punk the Capital: Building a Sound Movement [3][4]and the science-fiction feature film The End of the Light Age (aka 1,2,3, Whiteout)[5] with Lou Castel.[6]
He is credited as a co-founder of the D.C. Punk Archive and is an adjunct lecturer at Georgetown University.[7]
James June Schneider earned a Bachelor of the Arts degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and obtained a Master’s degree in Philosophy at Université Paris 8.
