Hello

Hi, I'm Jack. I've been an editor here since 2005, and I've also been active on Simple Wikipedia. I have many interests, but you'll usually find me working on the history of cricket. The lines above are from a classic poem called At Lord's by Francis Thompson (1859–1907).

I have a second account called BeachBoyJack (BBJ). That's for when I'm on a shared server and the vibrations begin. BBJ was created in unusual circumstances, when I briefly lost password access to this account, and needed help from the Wikimedia Foundation's Trust and Safety team (WFTS).

Please note that I no longer take part in discussions with the exception of article reviews. I will answer questions raised on my own talk page, but I am not interested in forums, and I reserve the right to ignore pings unless someone genuinely needs assistance.
