The vision of Wikimedia Foundation is "a world in which every single human being can freely share in the sum of all knowledge.". That's why I'm less likely to agree with article deletion in discussion.
Truth is important, but without ways to spread truth, truth become fiction. To spread the truth toward people who do not believe in such truth, in case they are allowed to contact different information freely and is not willingly subscribing to what they know isn't true for their own benefits, it is necessary to understand what is their biased understanding and how they form their version of non-truth, before their beliefs can be falsified with scientific methods against truth.
