What am I doing
Hi, I am DarkForest7, a newbie editor. My current interest is US City pages, currently reviewing Southern California.
Why am I here
Wikipedia seems to be one of the last refuges of the old internet - persistent anonymity, scrupulous attention to truth, centered on text, context matters. I miss the old internet terribly. It was an insanely important part of my life. I'm very glad Wikipedia exists in that space still.
Wikipedia gets accused of bias all the time. I don't see it, but one thing is always true - institutions are owned by those who show up. So I'm showing up. Mostly I see a lot of places where a lazy hot take might induce one to see bias. DarkForest7 (talk) 16:40, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
