A former freelance journalist, model, professional dancer and competitive distance runner, Jeni Ishimoto is currently a public librarian, hula dancer, Wikipedia contributor and autism activist. She has also been a personal assistant to actors, artists, and musicians in the Los Angeles area. Ishimoto has appeared as dancer Jennifer Kim on many stage productions and in the movies The Mambo Kings and Deep Cover, on television and in MTV videos, including for the band Spirit (IRS Records).
