From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Off Wikipedia, I am an English PhD student, primarily working in rhetoric, composition, pedagogy, and women's and gender studies, and I have taught writing for several years. I have a particular interest in religion and spirituality, language/linguistics, and several different areas of history. I am also interested in issues pertaining to donor-conceived people and other groups who are not always part of many mainstream discussions.

My other specific research areas include:

  • Language(s)
  • Writing studies
  • Religion and spirituality
  • Lesbian-feminism
  • Manifestos
  • Sexuality

While I use my personal investments in these areas to help contribute to Wikipedia, I am committed to rigorous citation of any and all information I add to any pages. And honestly, I just care a lot about access to quality information, and I really enjoy diving down obscure rabbit holes while trying to fact-check unverified claims.

My current Wikipedia goals involve improving citations, removing content that has no reliable source available to support it, and doing basic copy-editing along the way. I also want to try to work on improving those articles whose content is largely unverified or that reads more like an essay than an entry.

Pages I've created

Pages I have created are listed below. The first list is pages that are published; the second list is current draft pages. All of my existing contributions are here.

Additionally, I intend to fill in some gaps as I find them, especially for gaps related to academics, marginalized and/or minority languages and cultures, and other subjects stuck in the red link stage.
