History
The journal was founded in 1992 by Alfred C. Aman Jr., then dean of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, with the first issue published in 1993.[4] The publication process is managed by student editors, while an international board of faculty members participates in the peer-review process.[5]
Independent recognition and use
Articles published in the journal have been cited in independent scholarly literature. For example, work from the journal has been referenced in research on global constitutionalism published in the European Journal of International Law.[6] Independent legal scholarship has also cited the journal in discussions of global legal structures in peer-reviewed research.[7] Bibliographic databases outside the publisher’s control, such as CiNii in Japan, list the journal in academic catalogs.[8]
Abstracting and indexing
The journal is included in several indexing services, including Scopus, Project MUSE, JSTOR, and HeinOnline.[9]
