I edit articles about political stuff, but I am not a member of, or associated with, any political organization or Wikipedia-centric political activist group! I am simply attempting to improve the encyclopedic quality of this site, and I stand by its neutrality.
Hello.
I am a fan of Wikipedia's summary style, and can often be spotted chopping down pages. I am not a deletionist, however. There are just too many long pages. My summarizing need not be confused for me censoring the content of what I am deleting; I truly love that this site is not censored! Sometimes I am just removing stuff that should be on a spin-off for the article subject (like Early life and education of Thomas Jefferson from Thomas Jefferson). I also believe in the power of the em dash, and, despite its stereotyping as an indication of generative AI usage, will use it. Likewise, I enjoy semicolons. I believe both are necessities of English writing.
I frequently make foolish mistakes, but I'm never malicious, and am open to changing my mind upon hearing dissenting opinion. So if you think I made a bad edit, please be normal, and let's have a respectful dialogue on my talk page.
Lastly, an exchange that I believe should be taught as an example of how not to act on here, although it comes from Reddit:

OP: I know the question comes up a lot of people/places/things that don't have Wikipedia articles but should. I noticed recently that Bud Light doesn't have one.
Replier (American): One of Wikipedia's main pillars is Verifiability. Do you have any reliable sources establishing that Bud Light, specifically, is notable?
