List Entry Annotator is a script that allows you to annotate lists in a flash! What does that mean? Well, it fetches the first paragraph from the corresponding article and places it in the list that you are annotating.
Create lists like so:
* [[listItemA]] * [[listItemB|listItemBname]]
Then click on List Entry Annotator in the More portlet and be blown away by the results! (Blown away not mandatory.) Note: the script is activated while viewing a page, and not while editing it. The result it:
- listItemA – listItemA is so and so ...
- listItemBname – listItemB (aka listItemBname) is listItemA's best buddy. They have a beer (always a windhoek) together every wednesday night at Barney's.
The script will first show you a preview of the changes it will make. At the top of the page, click Submit to proceed or Cancel.
To use this script, add the following to your common.js:
mw.loader.getScript("/w/index.php?title=User:Guywan/Scripts/LEA.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript"); // Backlink: [[User:Guywan/Scripts/LEA.js]]
