Greetings. My name is Jayke R. Huempfner, also known as JaykeBird. I have a wide range of interests, including astronomy, Vocaloid, cartography, technology, anime and manga, video games, and even more besides.

My primary language is English, although I also have a fairly decent knowledge of Spanish.
I am a former developer of Better Explorer, and currently work on various programming projects as a hobby.
How Often I Will Be Here
With life being what it is, I don't have the time to spend on Wikipedia editing as I used to. It does dishearten me as I want to contribute more substantially, but I also have other things that require my time as well. Many of the edits I make now are on-the-fly fixes/changes as I enjoy the encyclopedia as a reader.
Perhaps in the future, I will take on larger projects on this site again.
Contributions

My Projects
I'm not exactly the most consistent editor on Wikipedia, but when I have time, these are the projects I'd like to spend my time in. In the past, I used to just come on here for a month, work on a project or two, and then disappear again.
In general, if you have something you wish to discuss about any of these articles, I'm usually watch-listing them, so that'll be the best place to get my attention to talk about these articles.

- Get Teekyu page to B-status (see to-do list below)
- Continue to keep Classroom Crisis page up-to-date as the anime airs
- Continue to update List of Teekyu episodes (this is an article I created!)
Ongoing maintenance
These are tasks I will do on occasion.
- Fix problems that appear on Category:Pages which use a template in place of a magic word.

Future projects
These projects, in general, don't have a set time as to when I will do them. This more or less means this is something I may or may not find myself working on later on, depending upon what I feel like, and if someone else doesn't do these things first.
Expand Vocaloid articles (Meiko, Kaito, Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin/Len, Megurine Luka, IA) and make a new GUMI page- Fix/re-organize Haruhi Suzumiya (character) page
- Improve Microsoft Visual Studio article to mention the new features added in Visual Studio 2013 and 2015 (and 2017)
- Improve Ribbon (computing) to add information about how the Ribbon is displayed and how it works (also add more history)
