Happened to be on Wikipedia by chance way back in September, 2009 and felt like editing some article, which I felt were poorly sourced. So I created an account. Ever since, have been hooked on to Wikipedia. I may not be Wikiholic but nevertheless addicted to it.

Replica of Ashoka Pillar near Chiang Mai, Thailand, built by King Mangraiin 13th century. It depicts the Lion Capital of Ashoka with Ashoka Chakra or Dharmachakra over them.

The idol of Goddess Kali at Kalighat Temple, Kolkata - The idol is made of touchstone and was sculpted by two saints - Brahmananda Giri and Atmaram Giri. The standing idol of Devi with excrescent face projecting Three huge eyes, long protruding tongue with vicious incisors all made of gold looks overwhelming. The eyes, forehead and hairs are colored in crimson, in the nose she is shown wearing a huge Nath. Her face is shown black reflecting the her name Kali - as the black colour is also known in Indian language. The idol has four hands, which all are made of gold too. Two of these hands holding a scimitar and a severed head of the Shumbha, the Asura she slayed alongwith Nishumbha. The other two hands are in the abhaya and varada mudras or blessings. She is depicted with her feet over the chest of his husband Lord Shiva as per story of the Hindu mythology. The deity is garlanded always with Red Jobakusum alongwith other flowers, which she is fond of as per belief of her devotees. This Kali Temple is one of the 51 shakti peethas and it is believed here one of the toes of Sati fell, which is said to be preserved in a silver box kept under the idol.

11th Century sculpture of the ten-armed Chamunda, seated on a corpse, wearing a necklace of severed heads, holding weapons like sword, severed head in hands. She depicted here as in benevolent-but-ever attentive mode because the weapons in hand are in ready-to-us combative mode but one hand gesturing abhayamudra. In the background an elephant is seen. Several severed head are hanging from branches of the tree, underneath which Goddess is shown seated on a lotus flower, below which depicted a naked male body lying in his stomach bearing the weight. At the base the jackals can be seen feasting on shava. A yogini or dakini is depicted lying on her back, face-up holding the asana of the deity with her hands.
The awe inspiring 8th century stone statue of Goddess Chamunda, she appears to penetrate the manifest world through this sculpture of grey-black chlorite stone. She is chiseled with her most readily recognizable features - eyes sunken into the socket, sagging breasts and skeletal body. The figure, with third-eye, sunken belly and navel raised, veins defined over the course of her entire body, no teeth, heavily hanging earlobes adorned with disc shaped earrings and snake-entwined around arms as armlets – one of which holds in its long hand a severed human head, which she grasps with her fingers having sharply pointed nails, which resemble a dagger. In her other arm she holds a kapala at the level of her heart, symbolizing it is filled with blood, which she is about to drink. She also wears, a garland of severed heads (mundamala), Lion-head bracelets, ouroboric anklets, Cobra headed armlet (bajubandh) and a waist-band (kamarabandh). She is seated on a corpse with her right foot on the ground and her left leg bent at the knee, foot turned, its sole to the sky. Her hair is aflame, flying upwards, wrapped symbolized as if wearing a triangular crown jata mukuta, which is held in place by a snake-band tiara, the center of which bears a skull. At the base on right side, you can see jackal-like animals feasting on flesh and blood, a dakini dancing in ecstasy after drinking blood (raktā-pāānā), holding blood-filled kapala. On the left side is depicted one male warrior with a sword in sheath hanging over his shoulder, paying obeisance.

In this sculpture the fierce form of Shiva - Bhairava is portrayed with five heads and five pairs of arms that hold warlike attributes including sword, shield, bow & arrow, snake, skull, trishula and others. He dances upon the body of his consort Shakti, who directs her cosmic energy symbolised as a cone of flames upwards to energize him.

The three eyes of deity are wide and protruding indicating He is in fearsome mode, teeth are marked and visible and having hanging earlobes. The sun, the moon are depicted on upper side with her consort shakti right above her head shown as holding the encircling flame or aura around him.

The so called Shiva Pashupati Seal of Indus Valley Civilization - showing a tricephalic male figure seated figure, The man is shown wearing a horned headdress ithyphallic, surrounded by animals - a pre-vedic deity, which could have evolved in to Shiva of Hinduism.
The mold of Pashupati Seal - clearly shows the feature - a horned headgear, ithypahllic figure seated cross-legged on a platform surrounded with four animals an elephant, a tiger, a rhinoceros, and a buffalo. Two antelopes are also depicted below the seated figure. The seating figure is also flanked by various aquatic life like, fishes, gharial, snake, sea horse.
