This list represents sites that exist solely to host paid PR content. Many disguise themselves as legitimate "news" sources, often with very obvious falsified staff listings and stock photos. Some deceptively chose names similar to existing publications or take over domains of prior publications.

Paid placement farm; collects normal news agg feeds and injects paid SEO content. Solicited heavily in SEO ads. Submission guidelines mention a $11 "editorial review" fee and pitch seo benefits. Some ads mention press release distribution, but these don't seem to be labeled consistently. Media article at Aljazeera notes "The coverage – and often distortion – by ANI of the content produced in Brussels and Geneva led us to the Big News Network and the World News Network – an entire network of 500+ fake local media in 95 countries that have helped reproduce negative iterations about Pakistan (or China)".

Primary contact is Big News Network News Agency in Dubai Media City, Dubai, UAE (www.bignewsnetwork.net). Also linked to Midwest Radio Network in Sydney, Australia (www.midwestradionetwork.com)
