Important information I think everyone should know:
5% of Irish schoolchildren are diagnosed autistic! And as you cannot "outgrow" being autistic, that means at least 5% of the population is autisic (although the vast majority of adults are undiagnosed). Autism isn't rare, 5% is 1 in 20, which means someone living on your street is probably autistic! Personally, I think the number is far higher than that, considering most autistic people are undiagnosed. I'm just waiting for the research to catch up :P
