Lioux (/ˈlioː/) is a nickname invented by friends of the user who decided he needed a name that was spelled with a silent "X". Taking a suggestion to base the name on the word "Sioux", "Lioux" was invented. Despite it's origins, however, it is not pronounced like Sioux (/ˈsuː/).
