About Me
I joined Wikipedia in 2016 and contribute as needed, focusing primarily on Guatemalan and Central American music, especially merengue, soca, and salsa. I am passionate about documenting and preserving local music, including recordings released by DIDECA, much of which is rare and at risk of being forgotten. I aim to highlight these traditions, which are often underrepresented as contemporary audiences tend to identify more with neighboring cultures.
